Ellery Beach House chooses NetNordic as the total supplier of technology for its newest hotel

Ellery Beach House – a new destination hotel with a fantastic location. The hotel is located just outside Stockholm. It is owned by the Swedish Ess Group AB, a recognized player in the hotel and restaurant industry in the Nordics. This distinctive hotel consists of an existing building that is being rehabilitated, as well as a completely new building. Ellery Beach House is Stockholm’s first Beach Club. With its unique location in the Stockholm archipelago, it is truly worth a visit. Guests can feel at home here, whether it’s by the pool, on the tennis court, or enjoying a drink at the bar.

Due to the combination of new construction and the rehabilitation of an existing building, Ellery Beach House is a very demanding project. It has been extremely important for Ess Group that guests have the best possible experience, both in the hotel and in the digital guest journey. Therefore, it was crucial for Ess Group to find a partner who understood the industry. Additionally, it was important that the partner had the necessary technical expertise. This provided full confidence in the technology deliveries to the hotel. They wanted to ensure that all dimensions were taken care of, so that the hotel had no responsibility for operations, maintenance, or upgrades.

Ellery Beach House chose NetNordic as the total supplier. All solutions are delivered as cloud-based services on the same platform. Through this cloud platform, the hotel has received WIFI, networking, telephony, and IPTV. As part of the IPTV delivery, a cloud-based IPTV headend is included, distributing TV channels to all rooms in the hotel. Additionally, SMART TVs with integrated Chromecast allow guests to stream their own content to the TV screen.

NetNordic has also provided internet access with redundancy over the mobile network.

The delivered platform ensures that Ellery Beach House has a predictable cost structure, with minimal technical installations in the hotel. They also have no responsibility for operations, maintenance, or upgrades of the technology provided.

When the hotel opened its doors to guests on August 24, 2020, guests checked into a destination hotel with an impressive location, service offerings, and technology.

Ellery Beach House is Ess Group’s first hotel in Stockholm and the first Beach Club in the area. It was critical for Ess Group that the hotel could open on time and function well from day one. NetNordic was given an expanded responsibility for delivering technical solutions to the hotel. They also took on the coordinating role on behalf of Ess Group to ensure that all deliveries were completed within the deadline.
