They achieved their goals with a cloud-based telephony solution from Microsoft integrated with offshore telephony needs. The solution by NetNordic
They sought a technology partner that understood their industry needs. NetNordic delivers an integrated solution with Direct Routing as a Service with Teams Phone System, Telenor Mobile Business Network, and Puzzel Contact Center, combined with critical telephony needs for oil platforms based on existing PBX systems.
NetNordic has end-to-end responsibility with a single point of contact for both offshore and onshore telephony as a “trusted advisor,” providing configuration and setup of the Teams Phone System in Microsoft Office 365. Neptune Energy saw a clear advantage in that NetNordic’s solution could easily be expanded globally with a Global SIP Service to Neptune Energy’s locations in the Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Egypt, Algeria, Indonesia, and Australia.
It was a clear advantage for Neptune Energy to scale its communication platform based on existing investments and user interfaces with Microsoft Teams as a hub for all communication and collaboration. Integrating telephony for users at Neptune Energy in Microsoft Teams means users save time by switching less between different applications in their daily tasks. Replacing existing telephony onshore provides Neptune Energy with reduced operational costs, access to rapid new innovations with a Cloud First approach, and fewer vendors for vendor management.
