Network for the Office Cluster Technopolis
NetNordic provides networking solutions and serves as a technical advisor for around 2,500 end customers at Technopolis Fornebu.
The property company Technopolis offers modern and flexible offices for approximately 100 companies in Fornebu. They also provide infrastructure and services that are crucial for operations, facilitating networking by organizing social events.

Technopolis wanted a simple, user-friendly, and stable network. They also sought an advisory partner who could assist with customer development and sales to tenants.
We have collaborated with NetNordic on the delivery of IT solutions for several years. Their service level, good solutions, and technical expertise are crucial for this contract. NetNordic supplies the network
NetNordic supplies the network for Technopolis and acts as an advisor for sales and ordering all technical equipment that connects to the network.
Over several years, NetNordic has built a robust infrastructure for the network, making it easy to set up new networks and reconfigure old ones. It is also quick and straightforward to adjust network speeds or make other customizations for individual customers.
The main components we provide at Technopolis include switches and WiFi from Extreme Networks and redundant firewalls from Fortinet.
For some individual customers, we have established dedicated VPN connections to external partners. We also provide IP telephony for customers who require it.
Intelligent IoT Services and Positioning Systems

NetNordic is currently developing intelligent IoT systems for the building, including smart light bulbs. We are also collaborating with external suppliers on internal positioning systems that can measure how people move within the building. This can help navigate the building and be used to collect big data.
24/7 Network Monitoring
Most tenants at Technopolis are small companies that cannot afford an unstable network, so for many, having a network with 100% uptime is critical for business.
Technopolis has a 24/7 support agreement with NetNordic. This means we monitor the network around the clock and take action to resolve any issues before customers notice something is wrong.
Recently, we upgraded all infrastructure and extended the agreement for an additional five years. Both Technopolis and our end customers are very satisfied with the solutions provided.
