Efficient Call Center for Kystverket

In close collaboration with Krystverket, NetNordic has developed a platform with a shared call center that also integrates mobile phones.

The Coastal Administration is the agency under the Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs responsible for maritime transport, maritime safety, harbors, and preparedness against acute pollution. They ensure a safe and environmentally friendly coastline, serving the entire coast. Every day, Krystverket receives around 300 inquiries at their call center at the phone number 07847.


The Solution

The Solution by NetNordic

In close collaboration with Krystverket, NetNordic has built a platform with a shared call center that also integrates mobile phones.

Dedicated emergency phone numbers handle inquiries outside of office hours regarding lighthouses that have gone out, requests for pilots, reports of acute pollution, and other matters related to coastal traffic. This allows Krystverket to receive immediate notifications and be available around the clock as a national preparedness service.


The Result

Increased efficiency

Daily inquiries now go through the call center, involving only a few employees. This leads to increased efficiency, allowing Krystverket to save significant resources on operations and administration, enabling them to focus on their core tasks.

We have become very conscious of uptime and availability. The solution from NetNordic, which also includes telecommunication services, gives us confidence that we can manage our tasks effectively. Now we have one supplier to relate to.
