Thon Hotels is part of the Olav Thon Group. We have hotels in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Brussels, and Rotterdam. Upgrading 50 Telephone Exchanges for Thon Hotels
Thon had standalone telephone exchanges at each hotel, which needed both replacement and upgrades. The chain needed to modernize the exchanges so that the hotels could have a common, comprehensive, and more future-oriented telephony solution.

The Solution by NetNordic
NetNordic delivered a centralized telephony solution so that all IP-based telephone exchanges at all hotels could maintain the same equipment and level. We replaced exchanges at all Thon hotels across Norway in a comprehensive project that rolled out over two to three years. Additionally, a contact center solution was provided for central booking, as well as for local booking at the hotels, with a backup contact center at central booking. This guarantees that customers always receive responses to their inquiries, while also giving Thon the opportunity to conduct various measurements and extract statistics relevant to the business.
