Smart Backup for Microsoft 365
Microsoft has some basic built-in solutions for data protection in Microsoft 365, but it does not take responsibility for your data, nor does it offer various compliance requirements or both short and long-term data retention requirements.

This solution gives your IT team full control over backup and recovery processes while reducing risk, protecting your data locally or in the cloud from human error, ransomware and other types of threats.
By default, Microsoft 365 has a level of security in the recycle bin that can be easily emptied by the user, in addition to that, deleted items are saved in the recycle bin for 14 days. If you delete users and their data, the data remains up to 30 days, then it disappears. This can be very serious if important email conversations or documents cannot be recovered after staff leave the organization.

To be completely safe when protecting your Microsoft 365 from interruption, damage or data failure, it is stored in NetNordic’s redundant datacenter on its own storage that is copy protected from your instance of Microsoft 365. NetNordic SmartCloud, as we call it, manages each customer separately and provides secure access only to the person or persons you assign. Management is then through different roles such as administrator, security officer, user, etc. All with different authorizations according to your specification. All with physical and logical perimeter protection where only authorized persons have access. Data stored on our platform is fully searchable with quick answers, where you can search for ex. GDPR information, employment or social security numbers of people who have left, account numbers, names, documents, versions or optional syntax. The only exception is encrypted data where only the file name is searchable.
If you want your own DR copy, it can be supplemented with supplements for e.g. your own storage or storage with a public cloud provider (e.g. Azure, Amazon or Google). The price includes a one-time fee, including commissioning, training, documentation and monitoring. NetNordic guarantees the availability and functionality of the platform, our communication, access and assistance. The solution will also be continuously upgraded, expanded, patched and maintained on the fly, through redundancy in our infrastructure. Normally, everything happens without downtime. You as a customer are responsible for changes to the backup policy, adding and/or removing users, and what you want to back up.
