Joint alarm center
The Telemark alarm center is a joint alarm center for municipalities in Telemark. They wanted a solution for central and secure handling of safety-creating technology and a platform that could handle new welfare technology.

The Solution by NetNordic
We provide the NetNordic Care welfare solution to the Alarm Center Telemark, which manages alerts from 13 municipalities in the Grenland region. The solution was put into operation in the first half of 2017.
NetNordic Care also allows for the extraction of statistics and trend analyses, which can be used as a basis for decisions regarding care needs.
Integrating Multiple Technologies into One Platform
NetNordic delivers a response center solution that receives alarm information from digital safety technology. This includes alerts such as fall alarms, mobile safety alarms, digital supervision, stove guards, and smoke detectors.
The service also includes an audio logging solution that records and stores calls.
We also provide a mobile application that forwards alerts to health personnel so they can respond where necessary. This includes mapping alerts and driving routes for health personnel. The mobile application provides secure communication between a response center and the executing service.
Nearly 100% Uptime
We have delivered a redundant solution located at two different sites in Skien municipality, ensuring nearly 100% uptime. Alerts are handled by healthcare personnel at the Alarm Center, available 24/7/365.
Efficient Handling of Alerts
Currently, about 60% of alerts are handled by the Alarm Center, while the rest are sent via the mobile application to health personnel in the relevant regions. This ensures efficient handling of alerts. The goal is for 70% of alerts to be handled by the Alarm Center.
NetNordic manages all technology provided to service providers/home care services and will maintain process and communication throughout the service chain. We have entered into a long-term partnership contract that includes the development of the service to meet future needs.
