Hotel Grand Joanne is one of Copenhagen’s oldest and most venerable hotels. It is located in a beautiful building from the 19th century in the heart of the popular district of Vesterbro. The hotel was reopened in March 2022 after undergoing extensive rehabilitation and refurbishment over the past two years. This hotel has a historical charm and offers its guests service and experiences beyond the ordinary.
The hotel is owned by the hotel operator Midstar AB, which is a leading hotel operator with hotels throughout the Nordic region. Midstar’s ambitions when Hotel Grand Johanne was undergoing extensive rehabilitation were that the hotel would reemerge as a place where memories would be created through music, food, drinks, and cultural elements.

It was crucial for Midstar AB that the hotel could open on time and was functioning well from day one for both guests and staff. This required a strategic partner in the delivery of technology that was both predictable, flexible, and at the same time focused on high delivery quality. NetNordic was awarded the contract for the delivery of technology to the hotel after a comprehensive assessment.
