NetNordic makes its 25th acquisition since year 2015 – strengthening its position in the Nordic market with the acquisition of Itectra
NetNordic continues its growth strategy and is now expanding its portfolio with Itectra, which has achieved significant growth through key projects in optical networks (DWDM). The market for optical networks is growing rapidly, driven by increasing data volumes, cloud expansion, and artificial intelligence, which place new demands on network capacity and flexibility. In Europe, investments in digital infrastructure and local cloud solutions are accelerating, where DWDM technology is a central building block.
The need for increased expertise and capacity in modern network architecture and optical infrastructure is rising, especially driven by explosive data consumption, 5G expansion, and AI workloads that require ultra-low response times and massive bandwidth, says Ulrik Kjeldgaard, CEO of NetNordic Denmark. With the acquisition of Itectra, NetNordic completes its 25th acquisition since year 2015. NetNordic is owned 65% by Norvestor, while the rest is controlled by the company’s employees.
