NetNordic acquires EdgeGuide

NetNordic fulfills an important role as a system integrator in the Nordics with a focus on business-critical solutions and services. Our deep focus on Security, Network, Collaboration, and Cloud in combination with adjacent system and infrastructure expertise makes us very relevant for large and medium-sized customers in the Nordics. NetNordic acquires EdgeGuide and with this we get a solid increase in the number of consultants within Microsoft Cloud, IT Security, and IT Strategy.

“EdgeGuide has developed a solid customer position and a deep business understanding that gives their customers strong value contributions. The leading employees and owners within EdgeGuide have built a very strong platform where NetNordic sees good opportunities to scale up, in Sweden, but also in the Nordics. With the acquisition of GoHybrid in October 2023 and the acquisition of EdgeGuide at the start of 2024, NetNordic has in a short time taken a big step towards becoming a leading Microsoft Cloud player within the Nordics,” says Jarl Øverby, CEO of NetNordic Group.

“The market is still in an early phase and more and more customers see the value of Microsoft Cloud and need assistance in optimizing their cloud journey. The expectation is also that Microsoft’s AI infrastructure portfolio will become a central part of our future consultancy offering. EdgeGuide strategically hits all key parameters for NetNordic’s future growth with a solid platform built on culture, expertise, and customer relevance. We have spent time together to define the next phases and we are very pleased that we can now start the realization”, continues Jarl Øverby.

NetNordic has grown strongly and systematically through organic growth in combination with strategic acquisitions. The customer portfolio consists of businesses within the Nordic region and NetNordic delivers business-critical solutions and services within Security, Network, Collaboration and Cloud. With the acquisition of EdgeGuide, NetNordic makes its 20th acquisition since 2015. NetNordic is owned approximately 70% by Norvestor, while the rest is controlled by the company’s employees.

“EdgeGuide has developed a solid business based on experience, competence and a driving culture. Microsoft Cloud has become a central part in the customer dialogue to optimize the customer’s value in the use of business-critical technology. Customers need our experience to optimize Cloud, Security, and strategic utilization of technology. We have been particularly active with customers who have a clear growth strategy. Over a period of time, we have seen that our business would benefit from being a part of a larger foundation and we have actively looked for different opportunities. NetNordic fully represents our criteria with a business in strong development, geographical presence, competence, and capacity that matches and complements EdgeGuide. We have collaborated with NetNordic on several occasions and through this we have tested our culture, competence, and cooperation. It feels extremely good to become a part of this journey as an employee and owner”, says Ali Qureshi, CEO of EdgeGuide AB.
